The Pen Y Groes ROC site is located on the outskirts of the Village on a miner road going up to Carmel. The surface features can easily be seen next to the road, they are mostly intact apart from the top of the ventilation shaft, which has started brake off the side of the main access shaft.
The hatch (Torlift) is in place but is LOCKED; there is no security plug in place so it should be openable with a Torlift key.
