The location given for this site shows little signs of any ROC Post even being here. Previous searches have drawn blanks in trying to locate this post and have made us wonder if this is in fact the correct location.
On visiting the area recently, a strange metal cover was found, with a second cover located close by.
Is this the ROC Post??
We were unable to lift the covers at the time, so can not tell you what is under them. A return trip is planned to investigate further.
We have sent the pictures to Nick Catford, who has visited hundreds of the post around the country, but the covers are not of any kind that he recognises, so we may be completely wrong about what the covers are.
