On the road between Llanrug and Waunfawr (Nr Ceunant) there is a radio mast located by an electrical sub station. Parking is limited in the area, you need to walk up narrow lane that leads to the Beacon Climbing wall. About 150 yards up this on the right, you will see the Ceunant ROC post right next to the road.
The surface features are in reasonably good condition, apart from louvers from the ventilation shafts. The hatch is not locked but you do need something to pries it up. You can then get your fingers under the lip and open up the hatch. On the inside of the post there are a few remaining items, like the bed, cupboard and battery box. Also the inside is still very clean and dry.
